Automated Weld Overlay Machine parts more.
We offer a variety of parts for the equipment, including various consumable components such as Gas Shield Cover, Nozzle, Tungsten Calibrator, Tungsten Electrode, Rubber Ring (seal ring), and more.
Detailed Introduction:
Gas Shield Cover:
The gas shield cover serves as the outlet for the welding protective gas. It is typically made of ceramic, boasting excellent insulation and high-temperature resistance properties. This design ensures the protection of the gas from oxidation, thereby safeguarding the weld pool and ensuring optimal weld seam formation. Different PTA torches require gas shields of various shapes and specifications. The size of the gas shield opening can be chosen based on the welding current — a larger current typically necessitates a broader shield. Deewi Automation provides gas shield covers of various specifications and sizes for PTA welding torches.
Nozzle:
The nozzle is an essential component of the PTA torch, typically made of brass to ensure a prolonged service life. It integrates features like the powder outlet and the circulating cooling water groove. The cold cooling results in a thermal pressure effect, further shrinking the plasma arc, ensuring a higher-quality welding outcome.
Tungsten Calibrator:
Generally made of copper or other materials, the Tungsten Calibrator is used to calibrate the internal shrinkage of the tungsten electrode during discharge in a PTA torch. This internal shrinkage refers to the distance between the tip of the tungsten electrode and the outer surface of the PTA torch, which is usually 2-4mm. If this is too extensive, it can burn the nozzle; if too small, the energy of the arc will be insufficient.
Tungsten Electrode:
Made from materials with a high melting point, high density, corrosion resistance, and excellent thermal and electrical conductivity, the Tungsten Electrode, when made from pure tungsten, has a low emission efficiency and can crystallize and break at high temperatures. Therefore, we incorporate rare earth elements into the tungsten to create an alloy. This alloyed material can elevate the crystallization temperature of the tungsten electrode and activate electron emission, achieving a higher emission efficiency. If the arc stream appears scattered during use, it is advised to grind the tungsten electrode. Commonly used diameters for the tungsten electrode range from 2.4-8mm. In the main arc, it serves as the cathode, with the workpiece as the anode. During arc ignition, it is the cathode while the nozzle is the anode.
Rubber Ring (Seal Ring):
The Rubber Ring is made of silicone, offering better sealing capabilities than conventional rubber rings. It is environmentally friendly, and its material has superior weather resistance, insulation, and heat resistance properties, making it the ideal sealing and waterproofing material.
